Marijke Haasdijk

Marijke studied the classical guitar with Ruud Verhelst in The Hague and furthermore with the Czech guitarist Jan Irving in Arnhem. Under his guidance she passed the State exam Musical Education Act A for guitar. After that she continued her studies with Henk Westhiner under whose guidance she passed the State exam Act B in 1997. Besides het studies with these guitar teachers she followed masterclasses, home and abroad, with, among others, Miroslav Matousek, David Russell, Hubert Käppel en Benjamin Verdery.

Marijke has many years of teaching experience and teaches classical, Latin-American, pop, blues and rock. Reading music, tablature, chord diagrams are addressed, depending on the musical style taught. She also guides students to the entrance examination for the conservatory, both theoretical as practical.

She forms a duo with her daughter Roosje Reumkes-Dillingh, violinist with the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra.

József Barkaszi

József was born in Hungary and came to the Netherlands to study at the Academy of Art. He finished his studies at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague in 1994 (drawing, painting, graphics).

He achieved the diploma for guitar teacher in Hungary (Conservatory of Debrecen).

Besides teaching at the Haags Gitaarcentrum he also teaches at the Kunstgebouw in Leusden. He never tires of art. He is also a teacher of a Japanese martial art: Aikido.
